Hi, I’m Vikas!

I’m a Ph.D. student at the Department of Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences (ATOC) at the University of Colorado Boulder and a Research Assistant/Affiliate at the Laboraotry for Atmospheric and Space Physics (LASP).

My research is focused on understanding the radiative interactions between the atmosphere, clouds, and surface using remote sensing and machine learning.

I am involved in a few different research projects involving algorithmic remote sensing and machine learning.

Teaching is an important part of my graduate life and I constantly try to improve my pedagogy. I have been able to learn so much and connect with my students with different perspectives and backgrounds.
